How TrainReady handles your data.

TrainReady ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Oyea Tech Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our web application and website at www.trainready.app.

By using TrainReady, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We adhere to the principle of data minimization. We only collect what is strictly necessary to provide the AI analysis service.

2.1. User Content (Videos & Images)

• To provide form analysis, you upload a short video of your fitness movement.
• Your uploaded video is analyzed by our AI to generate a form report. If you are signed in, your reports are saved to your account and listed in your history so you can reopen them.
• Captured frames: to illustrate the feedback, we extract a few still images from your video at the moments a possible issue is flagged. These frames are stored alongside the report.
• Important: These videos are processed by our AI engine solely for the purpose of analyzing your body mechanics. We do not use your personal videos to train public AI models.

2.2. Device and Usage Data

• Account Identifiers: We use Firebase Authentication and Google sign-in to identify the user requesting an analysis and protect free usage.
• Diagnostics: We may collect anonymous crash reports and performance data to help us fix bugs (via Apple or Firebase Crashlytics).

2.3. Permissions

The service may require the following permissions depending on how you provide a video:

• Camera: To record your workout videos.
• Microphone: Some devices include audio in recorded video files, but TrainReady does not need audio for form analysis.
• Photo Library: To select existing videos for analysis and to save results (optional).

3.1. AI Processing (Google Vertex AI)

• We utilize Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini models) to analyze your videos.
• Your video data is transmitted securely to Google's servers for processing.
• The AI extracts movement patterns and biomechanical data to generate the feedback report.

3.2. Data Retention

• Source video: your uploaded video is used only for processing and is deleted from our cloud storage after the analysis completes or fails. We do not keep the original clip.
• Reports & captured frames: the text report and the few still frames extracted from your video are stored and linked to your signed-in account so you can revisit them. They are retained until you delete them (see Section 4). We do not currently auto-expire saved reports.

3.3. Data Storage Location

Your data is stored and processed on secure servers provided by Google Firebase (Google Cloud Platform), primarily located in the United States.

You have full control over your data.

4.1. Delete Your Account & All Data

You can permanently delete your account and everything tied to it at any time, yourself:

1. Sign in, open the account menu in the top-right, and go to Account.
2. Under "Delete account & all data," confirm the deletion.
3. Prefer email? Write to support@trainready.app and we will remove your data.

Result: deletion is immediate and irreversible. Your reports, captured video frames, usage history, and your account login are removed from our systems.

4.2. Local Browser Data

A report you have just generated may be cached briefly in your browser session so it opens instantly. Clearing your browser data removes these local copies; it does not affect reports saved to a signed-in account (delete those via Section 4.1).

TrainReady is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
